I visited the International Art Grand Prize Exhibition to see my own work on display.
Unfortunately, I was not selected for an award this time.
After carefully viewing the award-winning works, I noticed that each piece was rendered with remarkable attention to detail and a high level of craftsmanship.
In contrast, my painting was created as an emotional landscape, intentionally softening forms and emphasizing atmosphere and memory. Compared with the other works, it became clear that this approach had less immediate visual impact and was less likely to stop viewers in their tracks.
Nevertheless, the experience provided valuable insight into my artistic direction.
Moving forward, I hope to retain the poetic qualities of emotional expression while creating works that leave a stronger and more lasting impression on viewers.
