This work was inspired by memories of flying above the coastline of Ishigaki Island.
The strong southern sunlight, vast clouds, and the layered blues of the coral sea are woven together to express the sensation of moving through the wind itself.
Rather than depicting a landscape realistically, the painting seeks to capture a moment of dialogue with nature — a fleeting memory suspended between sky and sea.
